“This piece stood out to me instantly—it portrayed a fraught relationship with such individuality and compassion, and I found it compulsively readable. The world of the surf and the live-wire of Georgie's feelings/memories felt gorgeously rendered.”

Hazard Lights was a pleasure to read—skilful in its economy of language and moody, atmospheric tone. A microcosm of a relationship, deftly drawn.”

Hazard Lights is gripping, suspenseful. Fear and tension hang off every line.”

A darkly-woven story swelling with descriptors of deterioration: of the ocean, a relationship, a world. A piece that left me seeking questions without answer.

"I can't thank you enough for the brilliant work you did on the exegesis. It was an honour to have one's work dealt with such expert care and concentration. I am amazed at what you've managed to do in such short time, and very glad that I stumbled across your website all those months ago. I do hope one day in the future I get to work with you again."

my french life.

Zoë worked with us in 2013, specialising in writing and editing for our online publication. During her time with us, Zoë wrote features that drew from her experience of the French culture and edited not only our English articles but also translated those written in French into articulate and audience-specific English articles.

She always wrote with enthusiasm and an innate understanding of her field and craft. Zoë submitted clean copy, on deadline, and was very willing to take on feedback and provide additional information and clarify certain points as needed. She worked methodically, to our in-house style guide and often contributed suggestions to add to our guide as new styling and grammatical issues presented themselves.

Zoë was always a welcome and invaluable addition to team brainstorming meetings and helped devise and implement plans for our guide series during her time with us. I highly recommend Zoë as a writer and editor. She takes great pride in her writing, conducts herself professionally and is easy to work with. I am certain she would represent any organisation well and would add value to a company.

"Aside from her obvious editorial skills, which shine through so brightly within the pages of the book, it is Zoë’s personal skills which shone still brighter. Zoë was never anything short of an absolute delight to work alongside. Her diligence and passion, even within problematic moments, always brought forward terrific outcomes. I can speak no more highly of Zoë than to say that when the time comes to put together our third book in the not too distant future, Zoë will be the very first person that I will be bouncing new ideas around with."

"I wanted to let you know that the article Zoë put together for my On Course profile was exceptional. Right through the process from her manner when interviewing me, to preparing the piece and managing my changes she was exceptional. The article itself has blown me away. I am in awe of her ability to turn our conversation into the article she presented. I could only dream of being that talented. She is an absolute asset to your team and to Swinburne. Can you please let her know how much I appreciate everything."

script editing.

"Having just written my first screenplay, choosing an editor was a very important decision, especially as I am dyslexic. Thankfully, Zoë was incredibly thorough and patient with my script. She gave very informative notes that were easy to understand to make the appropriate changes. I will definitely use Zoë's editing skills again."
